The purpose of this assignment is to consolidate understanding of Aperture and how it affects Depth-of-Field.
Scene 1
Set 1: Focus on the Front Figure

Set 2: Focus on the Middle Figure

Set 3: Focus on the Back Figure

Reflection
Image with selective focus on the front figure (f/1.4) on the left. Image with maximum depth of field (f16) on the right.
Scene 2

Reflection
Because I shot indoors with low light, I had to be careful to have my model not move that much. Because she stayed still, I was able to get some sharpness on the third photo even at a 1/13 seconds shutter speed. Even with the low light, I prefer the image with the narrow depth of field because the bokeh effect in the background makes her stand out more prominently. I had some problems getting the hang of doubling the f-stop and figuring out what was double as opposed to the one third stops. Made me feel like I have to memorize the apertures so that I can make decisions faster when I shoot.
