Hi light painters!
My love for photography began early. I remember my father taking photos of my siblings and I when we were younger. Later on in life I found out that he took photographs for his student journal in college, and became really good at working with negatives in the dark room.
My professional photography journey started out when as a newbie journalist, my boss handed me his Nikon DSLR and said, “Take some photos when you go to the parade.” When I got back with the photos I had taken, he said, "You have a good eye", and from then on I was assigned to take photos with my stories.
I tend to gravitate towards documentary style photography. I love candid photos, and delight in capturing unexpected moments and expressions. I hope to expand my photography repertoire to other genres of photography, including still life and portraiture.
I currently live in Boston where I work in Communications.
